MonacoMonaco is small enough to see in two hours and rich enough to fill a day. Most visitors walk from the Casino to the harbor, take a photo of the Prince's Palace and wonder what they missed. A private tour with a licensed guide answers that question: how a tiny rock became a sovereign state, why the Grimaldi still rule it, and where the Grand Prix, the belle-époque casino and the modern skyline fit together.
I guide Monaco almost every week, usually paired with Èze or Nice, and I know the rhythm of the place: when the Palace square is quiet, which terraces have the best view over Port Hercule, and how to move between Monte-Carlo and Monaco-Ville without losing an hour in traffic.

Monte-Carlo and the Casino square
The belle-époque casino, the Hôtel de Paris, the gardens and the grand hotels: the quarter that made Monaco famous, and the story of the woman who invented it.
Monaco-Ville, the Rock
The Prince's Palace, the cathedral where Grace Kelly is buried, and the old town's lanes above the sea. The changing of the guard at 11:55 if timing allows.
Port Hercule and the Grand Prix circuit
The harbor, the famous hairpin, the tunnel: the circuit is public road for most of the year, and walking it with the map in mind is a pleasure for any fan.
Monaco with Èze or Nice
The Principality pairs naturally with the medieval village of Èze, twenty minutes away, or with Nice for a full day along the coast.
Practical details
A 2-hour tour of Monaco costs €340 per group, not per person. The half-day format (€450) adds the village of Èze, and the full day (€750) combines Nice, Èze and Monaco with a perfume workshop as an option. On formats with a vehicle, an all-electric car is included for up to 3 guests. I guide in English, French and Spanish, and I can meet you at your hotel, at the Monaco train station or at the cruise pier in Villefranche or Monaco.
