I am Pacôme, a state-licensed guide (guide-conférencier) based in Nice, and I have spent ten years learning this coast the way residents know it. The experiences on this site are not tours in the usual sense: there is no group, no fixed script, no microphone. There is you, the places you want to understand, and a guide trained at university in art history and heritage, with the time to do it properly.

Luxury, as I understand it, is not gold leaf. It is a morning at the Cours Saleya market before the crowds, a private perfume workshop in Èze, the gardens of the Villa Ephrussi de Rothschild at the hour the light is right, and a car waiting outside your hotel with nobody to wait for but you. This page explains what that looks like in practice, where I guide, and how a bespoke day comes together.

What luxury means on a private experience with me

Entirely private, never a group

Only you and the people you choose. No strangers, no fixed script, no waiting for the last of the group.

A state-licensed guide, not a driver

The French professional guide card is earned through university studies in art history and heritage, not self-declared. It is a guarantee of accuracy, depth and professionalism in everything I tell you.

Private transportation included

An all-electric vehicle for up to 3 guests on most experiences. For larger parties, my partner drives a premium chauffeured vehicle while I guide.

Pickup where you are

Your hotel, your villa, the Villefranche tender pier or the Nice cruise terminal: the day starts at your door and ends there.

An itinerary designed around you

We shape the day together before you arrive, then adjust it on the spot to the light, the crowds and your curiosity.

Direct contact with me

You write to me, not to a call center. WhatsApp, email or phone, before, during and after your stay.

Concierge-level planning

Tables worth booking, the hour a village is quiet, what is open on your date, the viewpoint most visitors miss.

The slow-travel pace

Depth over quantity. We linger where the light changes on the stone and leave room for a glass of rosé at sunset.

Transparent prices, per group

One price for your party, never per person, with the vehicle, the pickup and my time included. Entrance fees are listed separately.

Trusted by leading concierge desks

The concierges of the Riviera's finest hotels send me their guests. Read what travelers say on Google and GetYourGuide.

A private guide, not a tour company

Many luxury tours on the Riviera are sold by companies and delivered by whoever is free that day. Here, the person you write to is the person who meets you at the door. I trained in art history at Paris-Sorbonne and in Nice, I hold the French professional guide card, and I guide in English, French and Spanish. My name is on every experience because I am on every experience.

That also means honest advice. If a village will be crowded at the hour you suggest, I will say so and propose another. If a museum is closed on your date, I will know before you do. And if what you really need is a chauffeur rather than a guide, I will tell you that too.

Signature experiences

Signature experiences

Four starting points, all fully private and all adjustable. Prices are per group, never per person.

How a bespoke experience comes together

1. You write to me

A few lines on WhatsApp or by email: who is traveling, how many days, what you love and what you would rather skip. I answer personally, usually the same day.

2. I design the day

I propose an itinerary with timings, the hour to reach each village, the tables worth booking and the entrance fees to expect. We refine it together until it is yours.

3. We adjust as we go

On the day, the plan is a starting point. If you fall for a place, we stay. If the light is better elsewhere, we move. The vehicle and my time are yours for the hours booked.

Prices are per group: €340 for a two-hour tour of a single city, €450 for a half day, €750 for a full day, and €1080, €1650 or €2160 for journeys of 1.5, 2.5 or 3.5 days. An all-electric vehicle is included for up to 3 guests; for larger parties, my partner drives a premium chauffeured vehicle while I guide. Entrance fees and meals are paid on site.

For hotels, concierge desks and travel advisors

I work with the concierge desks of Four Seasons, Carlton Cannes, The Unbound Collection by Hyatt and Le Negresco, whose guests are referred to me for private tours of the French Riviera. Their desks recommend me because a private guide who holds the state license, answers within the hour and shapes the day around the guest is a recommendation that reflects well on the desk. Preferred rates and referral terms are available for concierges and travel advisors; write to me and I will follow up personally.

Frequently asked questions

What makes a private tour on the French Riviera a luxury experience?

Four things: it is entirely private, it is led by a state-licensed guide trained in art history, a guarantee of accuracy and depth, private transportation and hotel pickup are included, and the itinerary is designed around you and adjusted on the day. Everything on this page follows from those four points.

How much does a luxury private tour of the French Riviera cost?

Prices are per group, never per person: €340 for a two-hour tour of one city, €450 for a half day, €750 for a full day, €1080 for 1.5 days, €1650 for 2.5 days and €2160 for 3.5 days. An all-electric vehicle is included for up to 3 guests. Entrance fees and meals are extra.

Is a vehicle really included?

Yes. On every experience marked "Vehicle Included", an all-electric car comes with the day for up to 3 guests, with pickup at your hotel, villa or cruise pier. For larger parties, my partner drives a premium chauffeured vehicle while I guide, quoted on request.

Which places can we combine in one day?

Nice with Èze and Monaco is the classic. Antibes with Cannes, or Antibes with Saint-Paul-de-Vence, make a natural pair to the west. Menton with the market of Nice is my favorite full day to the east. The city pages above explain each one.

How far in advance should we book?

For high season, from May to September, two to four weeks ahead is wise; dates fill quickly. Outside those months, a few days are often enough. Payment is by secure link, and the booking is confirmed in writing within the day.
