Nice
NiceNice is where I am based, and it is the city I know best. Most visitors see the Promenade des Anglais and a few lanes of the Old Town, then leave without understanding why this place has attracted painters, aristocrats and travelers for two centuries. A private tour with a state-licensed guide changes that in a morning.
As a guide-conférencier, I am allowed to guide you inside the museums and historic monuments of Nice, not only around them. And because every tour is private, we go where your curiosity leads: the baroque churches, the market stalls, the belle-époque villas of Cimiez, or simply the best view of the Baie des Anges at the right hour.

Cours Saleya market
The flower and food market is the heart of Old Nice every morning except Monday. We read the stalls together: socca, olives, the lemons of Menton, and the producers worth knowing.
The Old Town and its baroque churches
Ochre façades, narrow lanes and a surprising density of baroque chapels. Inside, I can tell you what an audio guide never will.
Castle Hill and the Promenade des Anglais
The panorama over the bay, the port and the red roofs, then the seafront that gave Nice its name in the English-speaking world.
Cimiez, Matisse and Chagall
For a fuller day, the Roman ruins and the belle-époque quarter of Cimiez, with the Matisse and Chagall museums, are a short drive from the center.
Practical details
A first taste of Nice takes 2.5 hours on foot, from €340 per group, not per person. Half-day and full-day formats add the villas of Cap-Ferrat, Saint-Paul-de-Vence or a nature escape, with an all-electric vehicle included for up to 3 guests. I guide in English, French and Spanish. We meet at your hotel, at the cruise pier or at a central meeting point in Nice, and the itinerary is confirmed together before the day.
