This is the detail that changes everything when you compare options. Premium group excursions on the Riviera commonly charge 100 to 200 euros per person. A private full day at 750 euros for a family of four comes to about 187 euros per person, comparable money for a completely different product: your own licensed guide, your own itinerary, your own pace, and pickup arranged around your day.
What the price includes, and what it does not
A serious quote should be transparent. Here, the price includes the guide for the full duration, a tailor-made itinerary, and an all-electric vehicle for up to 3 guests on experiences marked with a vehicle. It does not include entrance fees (for example about 10 euros per person for the Jardin Exotique in Eze), lunch, workshops such as perfume creation, or a chauffeur-driven vehicle for larger groups, which is quoted separately. Always ask any guide what is in and what is out before booking.
Licensed guide or driver-guide: not the same job, not the same price
In France, only a state-licensed guide (guide-conférencier) may guide inside museums and historic monuments.
